I joined the team at go outdoors when the Swindon branch was being set up. My role to begin

with was merchandising the store following visual layouts for opening and being creative with

setting up displays. When the store opened I worked in the camping and tents departments,

assisting customers with finding the best kit to suit their requirements and prepare for the

elements. I was responsible for tent sales, displays and POS. I dealt with refunds, till operations

and stock replenishment and have developed great customer service skills from this position.

Warehouse Operative - Go Outdoors ltd. - County Road, Swindon, SN1 2EQMy primary role in the warehouse is to inspect and book in deliveries. The roll is around 75%

computer based (data entry using excel and java based programs) and 25% manual labour. I

work with purchase orders and investigate invoice queries; as well as contacting suppliers and

customers, ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse. Other roles include picking and

packing, inspecting and dealing with the movement of faulty stock and internal/external

product transfers. I prepare outbound deliveries of packages or pallets and organise stock in
