To Whom It May Concern:

I’m currently employed by Haskel as a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer which is where I was employed until I left the company in 2006 to join National Oilwell Varco. My duties were to build hydraulic instrument control panels, which operate valves for various applications on offshore manifolds. This involves small-bore stainless steel pipe work and the installation of pressure/flow instruments. I also used to oversee the maintenance of the test bays, which are used for the testing of the NOV products.

Before that I was employed by Haskel, taken on as an apprentice. My main function was to build, modify and repair high-pressure gas/liquid test systems. I also have a good electrical background, with experience in PLC control panels, which I was also trained to build. I have been involved in the 5S and ACE program with both Haskel and NOV. I have also completed my Six Sigma Yellow belt training and IOSH training.

Due to the nature of the NOV and Haskel business this has meant that I have gained a great deal of experience of other industries (Automotive / Nuclear Power / National Grid / Offshore Oil and Gas Industry). I used to work from design specifications, which include the correct interpretation and implementation of pipe-work schematics (P&ID's), design standards and I also worked closely with the engineering team at NOV and Haskel.

I have gained vast experience by being involved in many off site installations, which involves working closely with the customers. I believe I can offer a good broad range of engineering experience with the ability and flexibility to work well within the company.

Yours truly
