• Airport authority in Norway = Avinor– Makes a lot of money on tax when flights are arriving the

country– Growth of low cost airlines - good business for Avinor!– Avinor wanted to re-invest some of the money in the travel

industry

Sent out tender to the travel industry for a 3 year cooperation project• We had to sell them a

message of money

• We need 375 000 euro • Target 50 000 new

passengers• Avinor makes 15.6 euro per

passenger in tax

= 781 250 € to Avinor.

Results and positive spin offs

• 2007: 42 000 new passengers• 2008: 40 000 new passengers

• Avinor - positive image in the industry

• The project has created a strong cooperation among our members

• Invest together in:

- advertising

- fam trips

- campaigns

- etc.
