Description KfW project
Project aimed at reconstruction of urban water supply and wastewater systems in 6+2 selected municipalities. The project comprises of the following activities: preparatory works and determination of investment priorities, preparation of design and tender documents, assistance in the public bidding process and evaluation of proposals, contract negotiation and contracting, general and site supervision of construction and installation works, and supervision during the defects liability period. Within the framework of the project, an evaluation of six additional municipalities was done, with the objective to assist the KfW in expanding the rehabilitation program to other B&H cities. All works were provided in accordance to FIDIC, EC and international standards and KfW rules. The total investment amounts to €5.0 mil. for water systems and €5.0 mil. for sewerage systems in four municipalities that remained in the project (Bihać, Kostajnica, Derventa and Kakanj).
