Michael integrated quickly into the sports department at Telegraph during his work experience, demonstrated a variety of

worthwhile skills. This included successfully proof-reading pre-season previews and conducting research that provided

insightful statistics that were used in the paper. Michael also successfully transcribed a 25-minute group interview and

produced useful texture pieces for the paper.

Michael showed confidence and initiative in suggesting ideas for articles, and determination in researching and bringing

these into actuality.

For our digital edition he produced a persuasive article on reasons to follow Non-League Day that was well conceived and

received. Michael then showed his enthusiasm and willingness to work hard by working on this day off to produce a

match report from a game related to his Non-League article.

Michael was well-presented and punctual throughout and would be a huge asset to any media company through his work

rate and journalistic ability.
