ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Service planning schedule – 2009 -2013In conjunction with the Roche call centre I have created a schedule, using MS Excel, to keep track of all preventative maintenance that is required on approximately 500 Sysmex, Stargo and Blood gas analysers. This schedule has helped keep the preventative maintenance tasks up to date which in turn has kept the breakdown rate to a minimum .

Ampath Haematology roll out: - 2012 I reported to the Project Manager: Ampath Haematology roll-out

I was tasked with the installation of Sysmex XE, XT and XS analysers in Gauteng, Mapumalanga and Limpopo regions. Training was done by our newly formed training department. Due to my experience I was detailed to attend to any installations that did go according to plan.

Lancet Haematology roll-out KZN area - 2009I reported to the Project Manager: Lancet Haematology roll-out

I was tasked with the installation and training of Sysmex XT and XS analysers at 22 sites in the greater Kwa-Zulu Natal region. Installations took place on a Monday and Wednesday and the training on the Tuesday and Thursday. I would train between 4 and 8 staff members per site. I would return to Johannesburg on Fridays where I would assist with any problems encountered in the roll out there

Urban Renewal Project – 2000 to 2002 I reported to the Chairman: Urban Renewal Program

The Urban Renewal Program covers the revitalization of the Durban CBD and immediate residential areas surrounding it; this entail the cleaning up of the area, installing/repairing street lights, greening the area, removing illegal businesses from the area, and liaison with the relevant various community and business forums.

I was a full committee member of the Urban Renewal Committee responsible for any matter of an electrical nature such as the installing/repairing street lights, maintenance of existing sub-stations, and ensuring that such sub-stations complied with eThekwini Electricity safety regulations. Each requirement was handled as a sub-project.
