Posts: 1. From November 2015 till now I worked as anaesthesia and surgical intensive
care consultant at New Mowasat Hospital , Salmiya , Kuwait from November 2015 till now .
2. From march 2013 till November 2015 I worked as anaesthesia specialist at New Mowasat Hospital, Salmiya, Kuwait.
3. From 26/7/2010 till 2013, I have been promoted colonel doctor chief of
anaesthesia and cardiac center Agouza Police force hospital. 4. From September 2009 till November 2010 I went to policlinico san donato
hospital a tertiary referral hospital for adult and paediadtric highly specialized cardiac surgery university of Milano Italy.
5. . From July, 2009 till February, 2013, I was working as anaesthesia consultant

At the end of this period I passed master degree 2nd part exam which included
written and oral exams in Anesthesia, physics and pharmacology in addition to
clinical exam in Anesthesia practice.
14. House Officer (Intern) in cairo University Hospitals, Cairo, Egypt. From
1/12/1995 till 30/11/1996 where I received two months speciality training in the
following clinical departments:
Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Internal medicine, Obstetrics &
Gynaecology, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine.
Responsibilities included assisting residents in patient management organizational
tasks and training on manual skills such as IV cannulation, nasogastric intubation,
endotracheal intubation arterial and venous blood sampling, urinary
catheterization, lumbar puncture, wound suturing, dressing and wound care.

Experiences Gained During Previous Posts:
1. I have gained a good experience during my 18 year carrier in anaesthesia, in
the following anaesthesia specialties: General surgery, Orthopaedic surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat surgery, Paediatric surgery, vascular surgery, Plastic surgery, Gynaecologic and Obstetric surgery, Urologic surgery, ophthalmic surgery and Neurosurgery. Also I have gained experience in many types and techniques of difficult intubation cases using fiber optic intubation , retromolar bonfills and glidoscope plus regional anaesthesia including (Spinal, Epidural anaesthesia and different nerve blocks e.g. Brachial plexus block, wrist and ankle block, local anaesthesia for the eye, stellate ganglion block & celiac plexus block).
2. I have gained a good experience in cardiothoracic anaesthesia as I have been
working as an specialist for eight years in cardiothoracic department at cardiac
police force heart center military Hospital , Cairo, Egypt and as a cardiac
anaesthetist since September 2009 till February 2012, at Dar Al-Fouad Hospital,
6th Of October city, Egypt for cardiothoracic and liver transplantation surgeries
where I have got experience in anesthetizing patient with congenital , ischemic or
valvular heart disease for open heart surgery e.g. CABG ( on pump and off pump
techniques ), AVR, MVR, ASD, VSD, TOF, PDA and thoracic aortic aneurysm (
with or without total circulatory arrest ). Also I have got experience in
anesthetizing emergency cardiac surgery e.g. cardiac tamponade, valve
thrombosis…etc. This including experiences in arterial cannulations, central
venous cannulations (using different approaches), Swan Ganz catheter insertion
for measurements of cardiac output, dealing with different types of pacemakers
and intra-aortic balloon pump. Also I have got a good experience for organ
transplantation (liver and kidney) as I joined the team for transplantation at the
time I was working at Dar Al-Fouad Hospital. 3. I also have a good experience in Intensive Care Medicine including diagnosis
and management of cases with polytrauma, multiple organ failure, comatose patients, and burnt patients. This included skill in C.P.R., central venous cannulation, arterial cannulation, difficult intubation and mechanical ventilation.
