Diego Gómez Heredia Why I started coaching?
I decided to stop playing and started coaching because of my injury in my left knee. When I was sixteen, I broke my LCA for first time. At that moment, I was the keeper of the national team ( the first time that De Gea was in the national team was because of my injury).The season 2006-2007 I was called again in the pre-national team for the world cup under 17, but I was five months injury with my knee. The season 2007-2008 I broke my LCA again. Since the second injury, I could not recover my level and still having problems with my knee. Because of that and because of my passion for football, I decide to stop playing and become a professional coach.
