Job responsible engineer representing Apache North Sea Successfully managed a programme of circa thirty-five multidiscipline topside upgrade projects, minor modifications and

integrity repairs valued at a capital expenditure of circa £1.6 million per annum Ensured that projects were accurately defined, planned, monitored, controlled and delivered within schedule and budget; re-

reviewing scopes and expenditure levels at regular intervals to ensure that the proposed benefits were still tangible Accountable for delivering some high profile and time sensitive projects whilst ensuring minimum production downtime

Projects included:o Pig receiver replacement: Vessel had integrity issues and was therefore replaced, including upgrades to

pipework, access platforms and valves. Project cost circa £600,000o Pig trap isolation upgrades: Vessels were isolated under single valve isolations and were upgraded to double

isolation to adhere to best practice and improve safety. Six projects cost circa £450,000 eacho Corrosion inhibitor pump system upgrades: Existing pumps were unable to provide correct dosage requirements

so were replaced, including upgrades to pipework and valves. Three projects cost circa £350,000 each Supervised the EPC contractor and supplier multidiscipline/multicultural teams during project implementation, ensuring that

client policies, processes and procedures were adhered too at all times, and maximised value for money throughout the supply chain by utilising existing relationships and negotiating cost reductions where possible
