Personal StatementA reliable, experienced and driven senior business manager, with 28 year’s work experience, in both public and private sectors, at management or senior management level. The last nine years of which, have been spent building, developing and extending my current employers business in Romania. I have been a full time resident of Romania since 2010.I have an extensive base of contacts throughout Romania and the UK, in business, social groups and privately and am a strong advocate for building and widening relationships between the two countries.Demonstrating this I often volunteer, or am called to give, presentations at many business and social events, in both Romania and the UK, outlining the success that can be achieved by British companies, in Romania, as well as Romanian company opportunities in the UK.Leading a small team initially, I have headed up a business that has expanded its footprint from one Romanian city (Craiova) with five staff and a turnover of just over two hundred and fifty thousand Euro’s in 2007, to one which is now based in a three cities, adding Ploiesti in 2013 and Cluj-Napoca in 2015, utilising the skills of our current thirty staff and increasing turnover to almost one million five hundred thousand this year.The success of Neal Brothers in Romania is well known and stands as an example of what can be achieved, I also believe it demonstrates my individual leadership capabilities, heading up and directing an expanding team, in what can be a very challenging business environment.In terms of my personal practices, I have a strong sense of responsibility, being tactful, courteous and diplomatic, preferring to carefully consider and negotiate.My strengths are taking on a project and seeing it through to its conclusion successfully. I believe in keeping my word and whilst obviously as a business manager I am often called upon to take tough and sometimes unpopular decisions, I retain a sense of fairness, doing the right thing and utilising a team ethic.I work well with people at all levels attending production, health and safety and board level meetings in-house, with customer liaison, I am involved in many initial contacts, presentational and contractual negotiation meetings and public speaking and presentations, as well as representing my employer at groups, social and business events.I have initiated managed and accepted change providing there is a strong case for it; I am averse to taking unnecessary risk preferring evolutionary development.I have a methodical, self-disciplined and high standards approach and also expect such standards from those that work with me. I work well faced with deadlines and under pressure, working systematically and with planning, but also able to react as required if things change.

I can demonstrate a wealth of experience and skills to any future employer proving I would be a valued and integral part of their business or organisation.
