Dammam Central Hospital Saudi Arabia

I worked as an ENT Consultant in a three hundred bedded Teaching hospital since March 2005, where I dealt with emergencies like epistaxis foreign bodies in airways, tracheostomies and trauma. Since this is in close proximity to highway, we received a large number of accident cases. Routinely I performed adenotonsillectomy, septoplasty, rhinoplasty open and closed.

Tympanoplasty with ossicular reconstruction, type II--IV

Mastoidectomy, canal wall up and down ,inside out , facial nerve decompression for temporal bone fractures,

Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) for snoring, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and Endoscopic DCR,

Endoscopic CSF rhinorrhea repair, endoscopic approach to pituitary tumors

Also I performed Superficial parotidectomy , Submandibular gland excision, le fort fractures 1 and 2

Jaipur Golden Hospital

This is a three hundred and fifty bedded teaching hospital, where I worked as a Consultant for three years from 2002 -2005. It has a well equipped ENT department. Here I routinely performed surgeries:

Otological surgeries including Stapedectomy & facial nerve decompression, ossiculoplasty using implants TORP/PORP.

Head and Neck Total and partial thyroidectomy, Superficial parotidectomy, laryngectomy and neck dissection.

Rhinology Functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), Dacrocystorhinostomy (Endoscopic DCR), CSF rhinorrea repair, Maxillectomy partial and total.

Guru Teg Bhadur Hospital

This is a five hundred bedded government teaching hospital where I worked as a senior resident for three years. It is a well equipped and modern ENT department where I had ample opportunity to train myself in otology and Head &neck surgery. I was involved in teaching medical and nursing students and took part in presentations and journal club in the department.During my tenure of three years I performed various surgeries.

I worked as registrar in Plastic surgery. I was on call twice a week 24 hrs. I treated burn patients, I assisted in procedures like cleft lip, cleft palate, grafting of skin, local flaps, distant flaps like pectoralis major flap, deltopectoral flap, lattismus dorsi flap, and free flap radialis forearm.I also assisted in cosmetic procedures like open rhinoplasty, augmentation of chin in retrognathia, blephroplasty, hair grafting, reduction mammoplasy, liposuction, abdominoplasty,Since we received a lot of trauma cases, I had a good exposure to Maxillary and mandibular fractures and IMF

This is a five hundred bedded multidisciplinary trust hospital. It has a large ENT unit and covers the majority of ENT procedures. It is a centre of otological expertise in Northern India. I was here that I was able to hone my otological skills during eight months of senior residency.

I performed otological surgeries like myringotomy & grommet insertion, tympanoplasty, cortical and modified mastoidectomy.

Research

Placental graft implantation in Atrophic rhinitis.Twenty five cases of Primary atrophic rhinitis were grafted with submucosal implants of placental grafts in the floor of the nose .
