    Para determinar T y S a partir de las ecuaciones sealadas se debe se- guir el siguiente procedimiento:

    preparar la curva tipo de la funcin del pozo representan- do en papel log-log los valores de W(u) vs los valores de 1/u; representar los valores de s vs los valores de t/r2, obtenidos mediante el control de niveles realizado en el pozo de observa- cin durante la prueba de bombeo, en un papel logartmico de la misma escala que la utilizada para la curva tipo; superponer ambas curvas de forma que los ejes de coordena- das se mantengan paralelos, buscando la posicin de ambas que permita el mejor ajuste; elegir un punto arbitrario A, en la parte en que ambas hojas se traslapan, y a partir de ste determinar los valores de W(u), 1/u, s y t/r2; sustituyendo los valores en las frmulas indicadas, determinar los valores de T y S.

  • HIDROGEOLOGAESCURRIMIENTO EN MEDIOS PERMEABLESEjecucin de Pruebas de Bombeo - Las pruebas de bombeo o de agotamiento son imprescindibles para poder determinar las constantes elsticas (T y S) del acufero; y - Para determinar la potencialidad de la captacin respectiva.

    Qu es una Prueba de Bombeo (PB)?

    Una PB consiste en extraer, de una captacin de agua subterrnea, un caudal constante, controlando en el tiempo el descenso del nivel del agua en el interior de la obra (nivel dinmico).

    Existen tres tipos de PB

    - pruebas de caudal (Q) variable;- pruebas de Q constante; y- pruebas de recuperacin.

    Qu captaciones intervienen en una Prueba de Bombeo (PB)?

    - a saber dos tipos, la captacin que se bombea y aque- llas aledaas que vern afectados sus niveles estticos debido al bombeo;- al pozo del cual se extrae el agua se lo denomina pozo de bombeo y a los restantes pozos de observacin- el pozo de bombeo debe estar equipado con los equipos de extraccin (motobomba) y con los dispositivos nece- sarios para controlar y medir el caudal bombeado- los pozos de observacin no requieren de dispositivo al- guno, slo se deber tener un pozmetro para controlar los niveles dinmicos durante la ejecucin de la prueba

  • HIDROGEOLOGAESCURRIMIENTO EN MEDIOS PERMEABLESPruebas de Bombeo Los aspectos bsicos a considerar para una PB son :

    - debe extraerse un gasto constante desde el pozo de bombeo;- para esto se requieren equipos que permitan mante- ner un adecuado control sobre el caudal;- equipos comunes son : disco y piezmetro, cauda- lmetro, vertederos en V y recipiente graduado;- simultneamente al bombeo se debe controlar la posicin del nivel dinmico en los pozos involucra- dos, utilizando pozmetros y cronmetros;- esto ltimo obliga a disponer de un operario por pozo, adems de un mecnico para el equipo de bombeo (motor, bomba y generador).

    Para el control del caudal que se extrae del pozo se suelen seguir los siguientes procedimientos alternativos :

    - Control Volumtrico + Este mtodo requiere de un receptculo al cual se conozca su volumen, de forma que se pueda controlar el tiempo que se ne- cesita para colmatarlo y de esa forma determinar el caudal que se bombea. + Esta metodologa exige aforos sistemticos, que suelen ser te- diosos. + Este sistema de control del caudal se utiliza en norias o en po- zos de bajo caudal, cuando los recursos econmicos son es- casos.

  • HIDROGEOLOGAESCURRIMIENTO EN MEDIOS PERMEABLESPruebas de Bombeo

    - Control Mediante Disco y Piezmetro

    + Es la metodologa ms usual, ya que permite mantener un control constante del caudal extrado con muy poco esfuerzo. + Para implementarlo se requieren los siguientes elementos : tubo de acero para la descarga; discos de aforo con distintas aberturas; una vlvula de control antes del tubo de descarga; un piezmetro; y las curvas de calibracin del laboratorio. + Todas las empresas constructoras de sondajes tienen no slo uno sino varios de estos equipos. + Con esta metodologa se logra determinar muy bien el caudal de bombeo y permite mantener un buen control sobre el mismo.

    - Determinacin de la CURVA de DESCARGA del Pozo de Bombeo

    + Las pruebas de bombeo practicadas en el pozo permiten determi- nar la Curva de Descarga de ste. + Para realizar esta tarea es necesario seguir los siguientes pasos :- graficar en un papel semilog de 4 ciclos, todas las pruebas (de Qvar y Qcte);- trazar la lnea de tendencia del tramo final de la nube de puntos, extrapolndola hasta los 10.000 minutos;- determinar mediante este procedimiento la depresin que se generara en el pozo, para el respectivo caudal, a los 10.000 mi- nutos de bombeo;- con este conjunto de pares ordenados estructurar el grfico de la Curva de Descarga en un sistema de coordenadas lineales.

    Los mtodos de interpretacin de los resultados obtenidos en un ensayode bombeo estn definidos para distintas condiciones hidrulicas de losacuferos.

    Acuferos Confinados y Libres

    Los mtodos que a continuacin se describen suponen las siguientescondiciones generales: el acufero aparentemente tiene una extensin superficial infinita; el acufero, en el rea influenciada por el bombeo, es istropo; antes del bombeo la superficie piezomtrica y/o fretica es horizon- tal (o casi horizontal) en el rea que ser influenciada por el bombeo; se bombea el acufero a caudal constante; el pozo penetra totalmente en el acufero, recibiendo agua de todo el espesor saturado, de forma que puede considerarse el flujo como horizontal.

    Para determinar T y S a partir de las ecuaciones sealadas se debeseguir el siguiente procedimiento:

    preparar la curva tipo de la funcin del pozo representando en papel logartmico los valores de W(u) vs los valores de 1/u; representar los valores de s vs los valores de t/r2, obtenidos me- diante el control de niveles realizado en el pozo de observacin du- rante la prueba de bombeo, en un papel logartmico de la misma es- cala que la utilizada para la curva tipo; superponer ambas curvas de forma que los ejes de coordenadas se mantengan paralelos, buscando la posicin de ambas que permita el mejor ajuste; elegir un punto arbitrario A, en la parte en que ambas hojas se tras- lapan, y a partir de ste determinar los valores de W(u), 1/u, s y t/r2; sustituyendo los valores en las frmulas indicadas, determinar los valores de T y S.

    Para aplicar estas expresiones deben seguirse los siguientes pasos:

    graficar en un papel semilog los descensos determinados en el pozo de observacin en funcin del tiempo (los tiempos en minutos se grafican en la escala logartmica, vale decir en el eje de las absisas, y los descensos se grafican en la escala normal);se traza la recta que define la nube de puntos y se determinan los va- lores de 2 y 1 para un ciclo logartmico (es conveniente elegir el l- timo ciclo logartmico involucrado pues representa el mayor lapso de bombeo);con estos valores y el valor de Q se determina la transmisividad T;se extrapola la recta definida de forma que intersecte la absisa co- rrespondiente al descenso 0, determinndose el valor de t0 y con es- te valor ms la distancia al pozo de bombeo y la transmisividad cal- culada, se determina S.

    Este mtodo es confiable para determinar la transmisividad a partir de losdatos obtenidos de un pozo de bombeo. El hecho de que durante la recu-peracin se eliminen los efectos de las prdidas de carga, que se generandurante el bombeo, hace que este mtodo sea el ms apropiado para defi-el parmetro sealado.

    La expresin utilizada es la siguiente:
