Nursing Duties & Responsibilities
Organization and management of Nursing care Maintain an effective interdisciplinary communication process Efficient recoding of all necessary documents Demonstrate nursing procedures; supervise junior nurses, student nurses and allied health staff. Observe,monitorpatientsresponseand adaptation toillness&treatments. Special expertise in managing pediatric patients with different medical and surgical conditions including CHD. Pre and Post Operative Care of patients undergoing different surgeries Providing basic care to the Patient with ventilator, BIPAP, T-Piece etc. Frequent suctioning of patients with ventilator, tracheostomy and T-piece. Continuous assessment of Neurological, Respiratory, Renal Status of Critically ill. Care of tracheotomy, Care of lines, tubes with strict Aseptic technique. Collection of samples and specimen for investigations including for arterial blood gas analysis. Assisting in all medical procedures in the critical care unit. Teaching and Demonstration. Administration of medication including IV fluids. Pain management and wound management. Coordinating care with multi disciplinary teams Ensuring overall wellbeing of the patient Nursing intervention to prevent complications, decreasing the need for hospitalization
