8. TEACHING, RESEARCH, ADMINISTRATIVE AND MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE

a) TEACHING

My teaching experience commenced following my appointment as a Senior

Registrar at the Lagos University Teaching hospital. I was involved in

teaching and training dental students, nursing students, Community health

workers and junior registrars in the principles and practice of preventive

dentistry.

Upon my appointment as a Consultant with the Lagos State University

Teaching Hospital, I was also involved in teaching junior and senior residents

Community Dentistry. With my appointment as a Senior Lecturer in

LASUCOM, my teaching continues and involves Dental students, MPH

students, junior and senior registrars. The areas of instruction include:

community dentistry, health management and planning, oral biology, medical

statistics and research methodology.

Surgery, National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria for the past 5

years. I have also been a resource person for the health management Curse of

the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria for the past 3 years.

I have been an Examiner for Part I candidates in the Faculty of Dental

Surgery in the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. I am also a

member of Court of Examiners of that Faculty.
