Short Biography My name is Mario Falanga, I was born in Maddaloni, Caserta, in 14/02/1991. Currently, im working for Deloitte & Touch, in Rome, as Analyst for Enterprise Risk Services (Deloitte ERS). In March 2015, I got my Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering, with honors (110 e lode/110), at the Polytechnic School of the University of Naples Federico II, defending a thesis on Web-Based Biometric Recognition Using Keystroke Dynamics. In October 2012, I received my Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, defending a thesis on Opinion Analysis from web sources with a final grade of 109/110. From September 2014 to February 2015, I worked on my MSc thesis at UAM (Universidad Autonoma de Madrid) on the topic of behavioural biometrics related with human computer interactions (mouse, keystroke, etc.) within the Biometric Recognition Group-ATVS. The title for my thesis was Web-Based Biometric Recognition Using Keystroke Dynamics, whose aim was to recognize people basing only on the typing of users familiar information, without use passwords, pin, etc. The work was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Carlo Sansone from University of Naples Federico II, Prof. Javier-Ortega Garcia and Dr. Aythami Morales Moreno from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. I'm co-author of a paper written with my thesis supervisors: A. Morales, M. Falanga, J. Fierrez, C. Sansone, J. Ortega-Garcia, "Keystroke Dynamics Recognition based on Personal Data: A Comparative Experimental Evaluation Implementing Reproducible Research". The paper will be presented in the IEEE Seventh International Conference on Biometrics: Theory, Applications and Systems, Washington D.C, 2015. My main interests lie in the field of Information Technology, Security, Risk Analysis, Biometrics, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Multimedia Systems and Computer Networking. In my spare time, I like watching movies, read and keep updated on news from the world of information technology. Awards - In February 2014 I was one of the few winners of a prestigious scholarship sponsored by 'Atlantia S.p.A.' (formerly Autostrade S.p.A., one of the major Italian holding companies) based on brilliant academic results and competitive selection ( 6.000). - In May 2014 I won a scholarship, based only on academic results, to spend a semester in a foreign university or research group ( 3.000). - In September 2009 I received a certificate of honour for brilliant achievements by High School Liceo Scientifico Diaz. Certifications - Trinity Certification (Grade 4, Grade 6). - Operative Marketing certificate, issued by Centro Studi Techno.
