Area of interest and contributions

: Electronics in general and interface for microprocessors, microcontrollers and computers in particular.

I worked in a private company for 1 year and was involved in the design, fabrication and maintenance of electronic gadgets and power supplies.

As part of my M.Phil. Dissertation, I designed and fabricated a microprocessor controlled, fully automated Bridgman Apparatus.

Research work leading to my Ph.D. degree was on “Studies on the growth and characterization of KB5, APB and (NH4)1-

xKxB5O8 type NLO crystals of borate family”

I have designed many advanced electronics experiments for the Postgraduate program in Physics.

I have guided many students on projects involving design and construction of interfaces for microprocessors 8085, 8086 and

computer based systems.
