Composition Work In September 2006 I set up my own publishing company to promote and sell a new breed of educational songbook written by a lyricist colleague and myself. ‘Singable Science’ is thus a book of 12 songs directly relating to the key stage 2 (7-11 year olds) National Science Curriculum and the songbook has an accompanying CD with the songs being performed by an 8-piece band and professional vocalist. The company was regrettably folded in December 2007 as having got rid of the original stock I found that it was unfeasible to combine the life of full time professional musician with that of company administrator.
