(xiv) Discovered and innovated processing method for generating a new highly nutritious
plant milk from a new plant seed.
(xv) Discovery of two new plants with established potential to reverse sickled blood in sickle
cell anemia diseased patients.
(xvi) Discovered an edible bio-wax (Bemul-wax) for preservation of agro-crops.
(xvii) Developed methods for using the bio-wax for storing sweet oranges for a minimum
period of four months without loss of its aesthetic, nutritional and sensory values.
(xviii) Discovery of the use of ultra-violet light radiations, microwave radiations and
Aspergillus niger for detoxification of benzyl isothiocyanate (BITC) from papaya seed
oil.
(xix) Reducing national food waste through the optimization of the drying performance of a
developed hybrid dryer that uses both kerosene and solar radiation for energy
generation.
