can’t make a sound. Drumming trees with their beaks play an
important part of their communication with each other!
Another amazing fact about woodpeckers is that pecking of
trees for the whole day does not cause any pain to them! They
have special air packets in their brains which prevents sense
of pain reaching the brain.
