Thank you for your generous support of Pacific Science Center. You helped us to end the 2017 fiscal year on strong financial footing and with expanded community impact. Your investments allowed us to offer dynamic science learning opportunities, hands-on discovery, and innovative community-based programming to more than 1 million people last year.

Together, we are expanding access to science. Initiatives like the Family Access Membership program provide a full family membership to anyone receiving public assistance for only $19 per year. Youth Access Memberships provide a full family membership to any foster youth or youth experiencing homelessness for free. And in just sixteen months, more than 9,000 people have become members of the Science Center as a result of these programs.

Through Science on Wheels, we deliver hands-on science education to schools, community centers, and libraries across the region. Last school year, more than 100,000 students across the state of Washington experienced Science on Wheels, including 40,000 students in schools where more than 40% of the children receive free and reduced-cost lunch. In partnership with Google, we provided six days of field trips for eight King and Pierce County Public Schools. More than 6,000 underserved K-6 students were able to ignite their curiosity at the Science Center at no cost to the schools or families. And new events like Science In the City are bringing community members together on a regular basis to discuss current science topics with local experts.
