INTRODUCTION
The UAEs rich history is rooted in trade and tied to Islam, which came to the region in AD 630.
The pearling industry thrived in 19th and early 20th centuries, providing income and employment to the people of the Gulf. Many inhabitants were semi-nomadic, pearling in the summer and tending date gardens in the winter.
A common religion, Islam provided the cement that held the society together.
The United Arab Emirates is home to a rich cultural heritage that has been strongly influenced by its unique environment.

Etiquette is an important aspect of UAE culture and tradition, and whilst in the UAE, visitors are expected to show appropriate manners and etiquette.

This attire is particularly well-suited for the UAE's hot and dry climate. Western-style clothing is also fairly popular, especially among the Emirati youth.
The UAE cuisine is a reflection of a great Arabian heritage and vast exposure to civilizations over time.Seafood has been the mainstay of the Emirati diet for centuries. Due to harsh desert conditions, the traditional food of the United Arab Emirates includes a lot of meat,fish, andrice as the staple foods of the Emirati cuisine. Traditional dishes include Ma'louba , Margooga, Harees, Machbous, Frsee'ah, Fireed, Jisheid, and Mishwy.

At the close of the meal, a red tea infused with mint, which aids the digestion is served. Other traditions to the meal include a welcome with dates and qahwah (Arabic coffee), which are offered on arrival and are kept available through the guests visit.

Emirati architecture reflects the traditional lifestyles and customs of the people. Building materials are simple, but well-adapted to local living and climatic circumstances.The United Arab Emirates's architecture is inspired by Islamic architecture, Arabian architecture and Persian architecture.
Portable tents traditionally provided shelter during tribal wanderings in the winter season. Inland more permanent houses were built of stone guss and were roofed with palm trees leaves.

MUSIC & DANCE
The United Arab Emirates is a part of the Arab khaleeji tradition.During celebrations singing and dancing also took place and many of the songs and dances, handed down from generation to generation, have survived to the present time. Young girls would dance by swinging their long black hair and swaying their bodies in time to the strong beat of the music. Men would re-enact battles fought or successful hunting expeditions, often symbolically using sticks, swords, or rifles.

SPORTS
Football is the most popular sport in the UAE. Emirati football clubs Al-Ain, Al-Wasl, Al-Shabbab ACD, Al-Sharjah, Al-Wahda, and Al-Ahli are the most popular teams and enjoy the reputation of long-time regional champions
The UAE national football team qualified for the FIFA World Cup in 1990 with Egypt.
International Cricket stadium in the UAE, largely due to the expatriate population from the Indian subcontinent .There are 3 International Cricket stadium in UAE.
