Image ResolutionImage resolution refers to the maximum number of pixels that create an image.It consists of two numbers thatcorrespond to the horizontal and vertical number of pixels. The most common resolution are D1: 720x576pixel,4CIF: 704x576pixel, CIF: 352x288pixel. For the SDI Megapixel cameras the resolution is referred as 720p, 1080pthat correspond to 1.3Mp and 2Mp. CubisNX Hybrid systems support all resolutions above.

Cubis systems can be upgraded at any time afterthe installation according to the needs of thesystem designer or the owner. Access Control Integration

CubisNX systems have the ability to integrate withAccess Control and match Access events to Video.This way our systems provide Visual Verification ofthe Access Control events. Matching of a certainreader to one or more cameras is done fromwithin the CubisNX Software. Using the built-inAlarm Response Engine that all Cubis systemsprovide, we can build Alarm Scenarios based on

various key factors like reader, card owner’s name,time zone and/or type of event e.g. wrong PIN.These scenarios may provide information to theowner of the system, the security officer dedicatedto this kind of events either via SMS or via videoevents sent to a Control Room. The “communi-cation” between the two systems is done on adatabase level and does not require physicalconnection between the two systems; only networkconnectivity is needed. Integration also gives thesystem the ability to store snapshots from thecameras to the Access Control database.

P.O.S. Integration

CubisNX systems are able to receive data from aPOS system and Overlay it as text on the recordedvideo. Not only we can have Visual Verification ofany transaction made in the POS, but we can alsoperform a search for the wanted period, at anygiven time, based on a string of characters includedin any of the transactions. Similarly to the way wecreate an Alarm Scenario for the Access Controlevents, we may also create Alarm Scenarios basedon information provided on the transmitted datae.g. operator’s name, amount of transaction, productname etc.

Integration with Video Analytics (V.A.)

Upgrading a previously installed CCTV system withthe addition of video analytics significantly increasesthe event detection rate and dramatically reducesthe human resources that are needed forcontinuous monitoring of large areas. V.A. givesCubisNX systems the power to automaticallyrecognize, zoom and identify people and vehicleswithout the need for a human action. As above(Access Control and POS) this integration offersautomated Alarm Scenarios or Intelligent Searchwith multiple filters of all recorded events.

CubisNX systems offer the possibility to connect toCubisCENTRAL Centralized ManagementPlatform. Automatic sending of any Video Eventsatisfying the Alarm Scenarios we have created in a
