High-performance, self-adhesive soundproofing material based on high density polyurethane foam with additives. It is used to reduce noise inside the car as a second layer applied on previously fitted aluminum vibration damping mats, mainly in the lower part of the car body (floor, engine compartment bulkhead, internal wheel arches and the bottom of the luggage compartment ). CTK SilenceMat is characterized by low weight and good flexibility, which facilitates installation on flat or complex surfaces with moderately deep creases and not too sharp bends. The special structure, high density and special additives make the CTK SilenceMat materials perfect for automotive coatings and for upholstery elements as a very effective material, reducing outside noise. Compared to polyethylene or rubber foam, CTK SilenceMat materials are more resistant to minor mechanical damage (folds, scratches, accidental breaks, etc.). Thanks to this they are well suited to silence those parts that are invisible, but still accessible. To achieve the best effect, it is recommended to use CTK SilenceMat together with vibration-damping materials, which damp vibrations and resonances of the surface (should be installed on the parts of the car that were previously damped with an anti-vibration mat).
