a) Safety Net System
Figure 2.3.1: Safety Net in Construction Site
The safety net system is used in the construction site to provide fall protection for the worker on site. Safety net was installed as close as practicable under the surface on which workers are working, but in no case more than 30 feet below. The net also installed with sufficient clearance to prevent worker from directly contact with the surface or structures under them.

b) Temporary toilets
The construction site should have provided the toilets which are clean and convenient with the water supply. The numbers of the toilet should be depends on the numbers of the workers. Wherever possible toilets should be flushed by water and connected to the main drainage. If this is not possible, a built in water tank or water storage should be provided. Unfortunately, the toilets on the site have no water supply and are not clean.

Personal Protective Equipment
a) Safety Helmet
Figure 2.3.3: a worker is doing work with safety helmet
In the site, every worker is provided with safety helmet to ensure their safety from the hazards in the site. The helmet or the hard hat function as the head protection to free the workers from the impact of falling object, penetration of expose structure or sharp objects as well as the electrical shock and burn hazards (OSHA,2003).

b) Gloves
The gloves are the cheapest equipment and yet it is important for giving hand protection to the workers. With the gloves is worn, it helps to protect the workers from the hand injuries whenever there is an exposure hot and rough surface, sharp object or chemical substances( TSP-24, 2009). Dealing with different tasks has to use the right gloves. Unfortunately, the site did not provide the gloves to every worker in the site.

c) Safety Footwear
The workers on the site have the possible to face the foot or leg injuries from falling or rolling objects or from crushing or penetrating materials (OSHA, 2003). Therefore, safety footwear is should be worn whenever the workers are on site. This is because the safety footwear act as foot protection for the workers to prevent their foots or legs from the hazards as mention above as well as hot, wet and slippery surface and electrical hazards (OSHA Fact Sheet,2006).
