2011. SummerGo and make disciples
To Proclaim His Mighty DeedsOur dear Friend, thank you very much for your care, your prayers and foryour financial support. We had a great summer and are now moving intoa busy fall. We would like to share all the joys and blessings with you, butthe space is limited. So we will share the main things with you.
The Word of God is not in chains7 weeks! It seems like just a few days have gone by since we startedsummer camp and we are already finished. We have a great joy,because during the 7 camp weeks 855 children and teens couldhear the Gospel and got encouragements spiritually. We arevery thankful to God for many many volunteers who came to help, toclean, to teach language, to be coaches, teaching Bible, to counsel,to be friends , so these young people who really search can have afantastic camp week.
Here is a testimony from a camper who made a decision here: Ireally like the camp, specially the basketball, the Bible hours, theswimming pool. I like it here. I have many new friends. I made a lifechanging decision. Before the camp I did not believe in God, I did notthink about such things. But now I know there is God. I do not knowhow to say, but I feel a boulder was taken from me. Now I believe inGod and I love Him. I would like to come back next year again.God knows the hearts; he knows what is in there. As far as we know, more than 200 children and teens acceptedJesus as their saver, and about 130 teens dedicated their life to God. It is wonderful to see that God is working,that the Word of God is not chains, the Gospel is a understandable message, we just need to proclaim it,since it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believe as Paul sais.
Here in our camp, Egypt what the theme. In the week 6, Gabor was the Bibleteacher, and they studied the life of Moses with the teens. Moses had tomake a decision how will he live his life. As an Egyptian or a Hebrew?He needed to make a decision which life he will choose. Todays teenshave the challenge as well, to choose God and to be pleasing to Him.Tundi was able to be part of this week ` through her prayers, as she hadpneumonia and she needed to be in bed. Praise God she is now doing welland is healthy.Why we would not change our life to anything else? When we saw at theinvitation how many young people repented and got saved and then when somany more dedicated their life to God, we knew we would not change our lives
for anything. One night when we had the invitation, one of the young men stood up and as he could not hold
himself back and he said this outloud: It is a strange feeling. Because a supernatural thing happened withhim, his sins were forgiven, and we knew it is normal, that he feels something different. Other times, teensstood up with tears on their faces because they put down their sins and received what Christ did for them. At theWednesday campfire we have invitation for dedication. Those who already Christians, but their life is not headingto the right direction can dedicate their life to God. Many of them made this decision. Many lives were changed,and there is nothing more wonderful than this.

In Ukraine:Whereever we go, the young people are the same, their life the same, the need same: they need God, His love.This is why we went to Ukraine this summer. We were here in Toalmas during the whole summer, expect oneweek in the middle of summer, when we could serve at the Word of Life camp in Ukraine.In the Ukraine camp Gabor was the Bible teacher. We are very thankful to God for that special week. We had totravel there about 665 miles to get there, becide Kiev. By Gods grace we have no problem at all on the roads. In
Ukraine there is lot of police who love to stop and take your money, becausethere is lot of corruption.On Monday afternoon 105 youth arrived to the camp. During the week we had
many opportunity to practice our poor Russian language (we needed to learnRussian in Elementary School in Hungary during Communism). We used ourhands, legs, and translaters to be able to communicate. The theme of thecamp was The Space Higher than the Stars Gabor was teaching abouthow mighty our God is, and he is Lord above the creation as well above theirproblems. It was very very encouraging when the young people shared withus they were encouraged by the teaching. Praise the Lord! During the dayswe had many opportunities to be with them, play with them. We could play,lough even we do not speak their language. Becide the Bible teaching wecould help in many other ways as well. Tundi was speaking on several ladydevotions and fellowships. Also we helped at the big games, or setting uptables, cleaning.
Please pray for these young people, so they can say NO to the pressures from friends and say YES to God andobeying to Him.
From our kids viewpoint: We had a great summer break! Wewere in two camps, Grandpa bought goats, we went to swimming in a waterpark, we learned how to play baseball If you would like to see thepictures, they will be on our website soon.www.csikosfamily.com.
