Details of constructionThe hulls of the Endurance yachts are hand-laid up of solid berglass using knytex mat which eliminates print-thru while in the curingprocess. Vinylester resin is used in the rst 5 layers of the layup process for prevention of osmotic blistering. Two (2) layers of kevlar mat isused in the layup process on the bottom of the hull from chine to chine and with a third layer applied in the forward "collision zone.".
