Cruise Shore Excursions Come, join us, and together we will experience the majesty of Alaska from the land, sea, and air. In Juneau we’re off to experience the Mendenhall Glacier, passing through the sights in and around Juneau. We will then board our private boat that has been arranged just for our group, as we are exhilarated to the sights of the Alaskan whales. We’re then off In Skagway where we’ll enjoy a Yukon Discovery Tour taking us deep into the Yukon to travel the route the gold prospectors of the late 19 th century both endured and enjoyed. Then, for a select few, we’ll board our helicopters and take to the air enjoying the amazing sights as we proceed to a glacier to land for either a dogsled or walking adventure. In Ketchikan we’ll enjoy the rainforest from a different perspective, from the top down, as we are exhilarated ziplineing through the treetops. Even a relatively inactive, fear of heights, middle aged individual as me, will enjoy this adventure. No experience is necessary and there are no age restrictions. And finally, in Victoria, we will enjoy the majesty of the world-renowned Butchart Gardens Our tours are private, just for our group, so you know whom you will be traveling with. You won’t get mixed into a multilingual tour wasting time with several translations. Traveling with your friends and colleagues will enhance your experience. Our tours combine the best of several of theirs, and or may include more entrance fees, or better meals. Many of our tours too, are longer than theirs, allowing us to see and enjoy more. I personally take the time and effort in arranging all of these tours. After all, I’m traveling with you, and I want to enjoy myself too. So come and join me as we enjoy the best Alaska has to offer. At the end of our cruise, I hope that you too will tell me, ”Yours are the best tours we’ve taken.” [email protected] “Your Prescription for the Perfect Vacation” 800 436 1028

Future of Flight – Boeing Tour & Snoqualmie Falls

Sunday July 28 (8:00 PM – 2:00 PM)

(Limited Space - Reserve Now)

We’ve created a tour to make our lengthened day in Seattle a memorable one. Join us as we travel to the Boeing factory to enjoy the “Future of Flight & Boeing Factory Tour”. The new Future of Flight Center offers interactive exhibits that will allow us to learn more about aviation technology, and offers hands on interactive exhibits.

Next, we’re off to Snoqualmie Falls. Nestled in the foothills of the Cascades, the 82 meter / 268 foot Snoqualmie Falls is a powerful and majestic natural display which plunges 98 feet higher than Niagara Falls. The Salish Lodge

provides picturesque views of the falls, as well as tastings of Washington's award winning wines, beers and chocolate. Fans of the cult television series 'Twin Peaks' will recognize the falls and the lodge.

Juneau – Mendenhall Glacier

Tuesday July 30 (2:30 PM – 5:00 PM)

(Limited Space - Reserve Now)

I am told that a visit to the Mendenhall Glacier is an exhilarating experience that is soon not to be forgotten. It is not unusual to observe bears and other animals from the safely from the elevated Steep Creek trail.

As exciting as seeing wild bears, and other wildlife sightings, it is the glacier that steals the show here. Upon arriving at the Mendenhall Glacier, our park guide will point out many of the attractions that we'll want to see during our approximate 1½ -hour stay, including scenic Photo Point, and the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. The area boasts several self-guided scenic trails that will allow us to learn about the role the glacier had in carving the landscape. We’ll meander through the Tongass National Forest, as we explore the Moraine Ecology Trail and the Steep Creek Trail - the latter of which offers multiple views of wild sockeye salmon during the mid to late summer months. Each of these trails offers a different

view of the Mendenhall Glacier through trees or along the shores of Mendenhall Lake.

For those joining us for the below listed “Whale Watching Tour”, we will be taken to Auke Bay at the end of the tour. For those not participating in the “Whale Watching Tour”, you will then be dropped off at the ship.

Juneau - Whale Watching

Tuesday July 30 (4:00 PM – 8:30 PM)

(Limited Space - Reserve Now)

Juneau is renowned for its world-class whale watching amidst the unspoiled landscape of America's last frontier. Our whale watching tour company is a family-

owned business, and one of the oldest tour companies in Alaska. They have been cruising the pristine waters of the Inside

Passage for over 40 years and know the best spots for whale viewing. Every tour within the last 15-years has seen see at least one whale, but expect to see a lot more.

We will leave the cruise pier in Juneau and drive out to Auke Bay. At Auke Bay we will all board our private viewing friendly boat. Binoculars are provided for our added viewing pleasure.

Our captain and naturalist will take us on a search for whales in Favorite Channel, Stephens Passage, Lynn Canal,

or Saginaw Channel. Included in this search are animals such as bald eagles, seals, sea lions, and much more. This is all done in the amazing Alaskan wilderness.

The highlight of this tour is the humpback whales. The whales are here in Alaska feeding in the nutrient rich waters. Once a whale is spotted our captain will slow down and allow the passengers out side, on the front and back viewing decks, for taking excellent pictures, and an up close experience.

This is an introduction into a truly amazing experience. For those of us that have never seen a whale, I'm told that it is something that we will never forget!

Vast wilderness, crystal lakes, and majestic mountains stretch out in every direction as we travel deep into the Yukon Territory.

We will pass waterfalls, glaciers and peaks before crossing the mountain

cradle of the 3,290-foot summit and follow a jewel-like string of headwater lakes that feed the Yukon River. We will be stopping at all ideal sightseeing spots in order to take photographs.

Skagway - Helicopter Dogsled Tour or

Helicopter Glacier Walk

Wednesday July 31 (Various times – 2 ½ Hrs. or 2 hrs.)

(Very Limited Space - Reserve Now)

These tours are the ultimate Alaskan experiences. The minute you get on board one of the helicopters, you can feel the excitement. You will see some of Skagway, Alaska's most remote landscapes and have the opportunity to land on top of a glacier. You will either meet, and ride, with an authentic sled dog team in training for the world famous Iditarod, experiencing the life of the dogs and the mushers from America's greatest sled dog race, or take an escorted walk on the glacier.

In 1898 the Rush was on, and tens of thousands of adventurers and fortune seekers poured into Southeast Alaska en route to the Klondike Goldfields. These prospectors used sled dog teams to haul their gear over the famous Chilkoot Trail with hopes of being the first to arrive in Dawson. Combine the experiences of the past with the present by participating in this turn of the century past time, which has evolved into Alaska's favorite sport, dog sledding!

After flying over spectacular glacial sites, we’ll land at either the dog camp on Denver Glacier, which is located above the historical city of Skagway, or at another site for the walk. From either site, we’ll feel the vastness of this great land, and view the endless vista of peaks and glaciers as either our professional mushers or guides take us on a trip that's worth its weight in gold.

From pickup to drop-off the tours are either 2½ or 2 hrs. long, and include either approximately 30 or 40 minutes of flight time, and either 1-hour at the dog sled camp, or 40 minutes walking on the glacier. One additional included hour is for transportation, safety briefing and boot outfitting. This is one of the most popular tours in all of Alaska.

Victoria – The Butchart Gardens

Saturday August 3 (6:30 PM – 10:30 PM)

This stunning 55-acre garden and National Historic Site has been drawing visitors since it was planted in a limestone quarry in 1904. Seven hundred varieties of flowers grow in the site's Japanese, Italian, rose, and sunken gardens. Highlights include the view over the ivy-draped and flower-filled former quarry, the dramatic 21-meter-high (70-foot-high) Ross Fountain, and the formal and intricate Italian garden, complete with a gelato stand.

From mid-June to mid-September the gardens are illuminated at night with hundreds of hidden lights. This nightly transformation, known as Night Illuminations is as unique as it is breathtaking. In July and August, jazz, blues, and classical musicians play at an outdoor stage each evening; and
