Crude herb drug means unless specified otherwise, mainly whole, fragmented or cut, plants or parts of plants, algae, fungi and lichen in a form which is not processed used in therapeutics. There are many

drugs in trivial areas which are not in light today and these are used as crude drugs to cure and prevent many diseases and ailments in these rural areas. These crude drugs are used by trivial community

from a long term. Knowledge of these crude drugs is limited to local community and getting lost with time, so these drugs are needed to be exposed to the modern era and their knowledge should be

explored. Some of the vernicular names of crude drugs are: MARBABAI AND BHIRHA (mosquito and fly repellent), HADJUDI (to treat bone cracks), JUNGLI PIYANR (in scorpion bite), Thus
