crowd control
DESCRIPTION
This zine catalogues and documents every use of tear gas by US law enforcement against demonstrations, riots, mobs, and other "crowd" formations during the long '00s (from Seattle WTO to Occupy Oakland). We include incidents that are not overtly political (sports riots, concert riots, college parties gone wild, etc) but exclude kidnapping/hostage situations unless they also involve disorderly crowds. And we confine our coverage to the 50 states since tear gas is used fairly regularly in and around overseas US military installations, US embassies, and Puerto Rico.TRANSCRIPT
