STREETSCAPE OPTIONS Commission Members discussed moving forward with a reduced streetscape project on a phased approach. Mara Perry shared three handouts to facilitate the discussion; the 2020 Fiscal Year Budget for the Big Bend Blvd. Crossroads Project (see Appendix A), an aerial photo of the District with improvements roughly highlighted for discussion purposes only (see Appendix B), and a letter from Cochran Engineering showing the scope of services (see Appendix C). The first phase would be do get the engineering completed for all the phases. Adding the bumpouts would be the first construction phase. Having the engineering piece completed allows additional funding discussion to take place. All Commission Members were in agreement to let Cochran proceed with the engineering. NEW BUSINESS Commission Members have observed teens walking home from school thru the District daring each other to lay down in the street or on the train tracks and are very concerned they will get hurt. Mara will reach out to the Police Department and make them aware of the situation. Starting in January of 2020, the meeting day for the Crossroads monthly meeting will change to the 3 rd Thursday of the month. CITY UPDATE Le Macaron - Old Webster- Opening in the former Scoop Pilates Studio. Obtained their CUP and are working on construction plans. Bridal House at the Boulevard - Old Orchard - Opened additional space in the back of their lot that used to be another hair salon. Space is for bridal parties and groups. Clayton Medical Associates - Crossroads - Opened in the former surgical center and Everlove Day Club space. Moved from Clayton

• EverLove DayClub - Watson - Moved from Crossroads and opened location down on Watson almost at Grant Road. Adult day care in stand-alone building.

• Blue Dahlia - Old Orchard - In part of the former Scholar Shop. Had their Grand Opening on Friday August 23rd•

• Real Leaf- Old Orchard - Former Naked Boot and Shoe location. CBD oil sales.

• Story Seven - Old Webster - Former Hoopla location. Had their Grand Opening celebration Saturday August 24th

• Green Door Art Gallery- Old Webster - Change of ownership

• Simmons Bank- Yorkshire - Change of ownership former Reliance Bank

• The Elle on Lockwood - Former YMCA site; walls are going up.

• Regions Bank - Former Gerber Chapel. Construction has started; there may be a potential tenant for the retail building.

• Former Auto Beauty building- permits have been issued for the demolition and beginning of construction. Parking plan still needs to be submitted for review.

• Working with a potential business for the former Porter Paints building location.

• Chase Bank in the former Massage Envy location in Old Webster has fallen thru.

• A medical billing business and several other businesses are moving into the space above the former Massage Envy location in Old Webster.

• An article appeared in the paper discussing the Subaru dealership in Old Orchard was moving out of Webster Groves; they need a bigger location. They had been in conversations with Mara Perry discussing their various options to find space in Webster Groves.

• The Piano Festival on the lawn in front of the Masonic Temple next door to City Hall was well attended.

NEXT MEETING The next meeting will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 8:00 AM – City Hall.
