Considered the central attraction of Rio de Janeiro, Christ the Redeemer is the world's largest with 38 meters high and weighing 1200 tonnes art deco work. With outstretched arms, the image of Christ seems to be protecting the city that never sleeps.

This impressive statue is located on top of Corcovado Mountain, 710 meters above sea level. It represents faith and people's sympathy for what promises to be this colossus, with more than 80 years of history, one of the main attractions during the development of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympics.
