What is crime prevention?

• By crime prevention we mean that you need to make sure that there are no windows open, shed doors open, bikes freely on show or anything that can be taken easily. And keeping our homes, bikes and cars safe

How to keep houses safe.• When you leave the house make sure that there

are no valuable items in the window.• If you have something new don’t leave the box

outside your house because people will know that you have something new and might steel it

• If you can make sure that you all windows are shut and that no ladders are leading up to an open window

• Don’t leave garage doors open

How to keep cars safe.• Don’t leave car boots open• Always set the car alarm• Don’t leave precious objects in sight • Lock windows when you leave the
