The Book of Secrets
Suspended Animation Suspended Animation is
an anthology of short stories by author Shweta Ganesh Kumar. The 22 stories depict the different states of Suspended Animation that all of us go through. Scattered across the length and breadth of the world from the Phillipines to Scotland to India, the stories delve into the human condition of waiting, sometimes without
hope.
Be it the wait for a natural disaster to pass or the wait for a forever absent spouse or even the wait to transform oneself and fight the odds, Suspended Animation will take you through the whole spectrum of emotions
and insecurities.
In these stories some of which are funny, some are ironical, some are sweet and some plain heart wrenching, we join 22 characters
for whom waiting is a constant reality of life.

Ants on Peonies
A riveting tale of desire and deceit, Ants on Peonies is an intriguing story told through the eyes of protagonist Valentine Scott. On the surface, Valentine appears to have it all – a glamorous career as a photographer, a handsome husband and a beautiful daughter. But under this veneer lies a fragile reality – a lingering brain injury from a devastating car accident that threatens to destroy her life and her relationships. The sudden appearance of her first love, Jack, further complicates things. The question becomes: How much, or who, is she willing to risk, in an effort to silence the
demons and conquer the past? Ants on Peonies is a page-turner you
won‟t be able to put down.
Beth Thompson is an award-winning magazine writer and editor living in Toronto,
Canada. She has spent the last two decades focusing on consumer health, beauty and style. Beth previously co-wrote a business book called Kidfluence: Why Kids Today Mean Business. She is married with three children. The “Ants on Peonies” is her debut novel.
How I won the Love Deal Making a deal with an arrogant guy is difficult. Making a love deal with the same? It is
complicated. Here are the few pointers to win
a deal, with your ex-childhood best friend.
Cook for him and make sure it‟s a mess. If
it makes him sick, all the better.
Buy him a gift. It is better if it is something
really cuddly.
Ignore him completely, when he starts to
notice you.
Go on a date with the new guy and get
caught while you‟re trying to kiss
And finally, get yourself kidnapped.
His heart, body and soul will be yours to keep.
As Liana tries to make Asher fall for her, just
so she can humiliate him, she realizes she isn‟t
the right person for the job. She needs the
help of her friends and a little bit of luck. But
what she needs most is restraint; the love deal
has more fine print than she gambled for.
How I Won the Love Deal is a head over heels tale of hate, love and
all the ridiculous stuff that teenagers all over the world do. Liana and Asher‟s fight to the
finish to win the love deal will make you smile throughout.
Ada Wiam is a self-confessed chocoholic and a book worm, a writer and a dreamer.
She loves creating characters and their worlds with her imagination and a little ink. She finds
both contentment and escape through writing stories.
Happily married with a wonderful family, a loving husband and supportive friends, Ada
divides her time between writing and reading. Ada Wiam is a pen-name.
The Book of Secrets
The Book of Secrets, though it is fiction, it
does contain elements of factual drama. The story blends
historical facts with fiction which makes the tale a little more
interesting to read. Whether such book supposedly written by
angels does exist, it is for the person to believe in its existence
or not. The story takes the reader from one country to
another; Australia, Italy and Spain where history begins to
unfold as the tale takes you deeper into its mystical and
thrilling ride before the climatic ending, where you will find
yourself feeling a little sad or relieved as you turn the last
page. Angelic beings, the supernatural, adventure through
time and learn secrets that have been embedded in thousand
year old walls, tombs and in the minds of the dead to uncover
the resting place of the Book of secrets.

lot of time exploring and investigating the land of Spain; his adventures have been thrilling
and educational serving as research to write his stories.

with him in Barcelona and he The Book of Secrets is his third book and the first in the
Quest for Knowledge trilogy.
