IntroductionIntroduction• Invention is something such as a device or process that has been

created or made up, or the process of creating or making up something or figuring out a way to do something.

• Some of the main features of inventions are: Creating something new that did not exist before New solutions to existing problems Result of human creativity and curiosity Successful inventions - demand driven

being invented by humans, which are very useful and time saving. Some of the most creative inventions which we have highlighted in our project are the following:

1. Clocky2. Solepower3. Logbar Ring

ClockyClocky• Clocky is a brand of alarm clock.

• It is outfitted with wheels which allow it to hide itself in order to force the owner awake in an attempt to find it.

• Clocky is invented for an industrial design class by Gauri Nanda, then a graduate student at MIT Media Lab.

• Clocky won the 2005 Nobel Prize in Economics.

• Clocky is a regular alarm clock, except that it moves on its own power when the snooze button is pressed a second time.

SolepowerSolepower• Solepower tech's new invention, the Solepower

is a small device that fits into your shoe and get its energy from you as you walk.

• Solepower charges a small battery, and you can use that energy to charge your phone.

including hiking, traveling, and for people in less advanced countries who may not have consistent access to electricity. 

Logbar RingLogbar Ring• Logbar Ring is one of the coolest inventions ever.

• It’s an actual ring that you wear on your index finger that can recognize the motions of your finger and send texts, make payments, control the TV, lights, even curtains — basically anything that is compatible with its technology.

• You can even program your own symbols into this new gadget.

• There seems to be a lot you can do with it and not much you can’t, not to mention it’s a boss-looking ring. 

ConclusionConclusion• All nations have a wealth of creative and inventive people,

with a variety of cultures and experience.

 

• One of the best ways to spark great new ideas is to give creators and inventors genuine opportunities to develop their ideas.

• Universities and R&D organizations to adopt active IP policies to lead the innovation process.

• Governments and policy makers to encourage and support creation of a climate favorable to invention, creativity and innovation.

• Invention will generate benefits if and when it goes through the innovation process to the market place.

• The innovation process may be long and requires a lot of expertise and resources.
