I am especially enthusiastic about knit and learning new techniques within the area of specialism. My peers and previous work colleagues would describe me as an outgoing, organised and hard working person. Education: Currently studying Textile Design at Nottingham Trent University, specialising in knit. Attended Stockport Grammar School from 2008-2015 and completed A levels in Psychology with grade A and Art and Design grade B. I also achieved B grades in AS level History and Textiles. I gained 8 GCSEs grade A and two grade B. Both English and Maths grade A. Work Experience: JD Wetherspoon, The Kingfisher, part-time bar staff from June 2016- Present Referee: James Doyle, The Kingfisher, London Road South, Poynton, SK12 1NJ This position has shown me the importance of organisation and to be able to think quickly on your feet and still be able to provide excellent customer service. The job requires up to date product knowledge and training. There is also a lot of teamwork involved. Waitrose Poynton part-time sales assistant from November 2013- February 2014. Referee: Jill Holland, Waitrose, Park Lane, Poynton, Stockport This position helped me develop my teamwork skills during the busy Christmas period and how to interact with customers, whilst still being able to be independent and think on my feet. Fig Creative Glossop from during June 2013. Referee: Helen Duncan, Fig Creative, 174 High Street, Glossop During my time at Fig Creative I wrote a blog for their website as well as building my confidence in answering telephone enquiries. I helped create the seasonal summer window display and developed my computer skills by creating several spreadsheets and word-processed documents.
