2016 – 2017 DBE Performance Report
About the DBE Program DBE Participation increased from 16% in 2010 to
47.7% in 2017
DBE certification processing time reduced from 730 days to 15 days
225 DBE and small businesses graduated from the BuildNOLA training and capacity building program since 2015
BuildNOLA graduates have generated over $5 million in contracts and created 74 full-time jobs
Launched a $1.5 million BuildNOLA Mobilization Fund Pilot Project to provide contract financing for DBEs
Mobilization Fund participants have generated $6 million in municipal contracts and reported 69 new construction jobs

through June 30, 2017.
Historic data reflects verifiable contract and payment data from 2014 to date.
DBE as Prime reflects percentage of DBE contracts and percentage of all contracts from 2014 to date.
DBE waivers indicate both sole source and departmental requests.
Waiver reports do not capture requirements contracts.
DBE performance dashboards for all departments and agencies with contracts awarded during the report period are provided.
