  • 1. Objective 1: Create Labels and Enter Text
    Using a Sheet of Labels to create Business Cards in Word 2007
  • 2. Step 1: Open a blank Word document, click the Mailing tab, then click Labels in the Create group.
  • 3. Step 2:Click Options, click the Label vendors list arrow, then scroll to and click Avery US Letter.
  • 4. Step 3: In the Product number list box, scroll to and click 5371, click Details, verify that the Label height is 2 and the Label width is 3.5, click OK.
  • 5. Step 4: Click New Document.
  • 6. Step 5: Type Allison Alvarez. Save the document as Business Cards for Allison Alvarez.
  • 7. Step 6: Press enter once then type the remaining text for the business card

  • 8. Step 7:Click the first line, click the Page Layout tab, change the Before spacing to 36 pt.
  • 9. Step 8: Select the six lines of text, click the Home tab, click the Align Text Right button in the Paragraphgroup.
  • 10. Step 9: Enhance Allison Alvarez with Bold and a font size of 14 pt, change the font size of the remaining text to 10 pt, then enhance Stylist with Italic.
  • 11. Step 10: Select all six lines of text, click the Page Layout tab, change the Right indent to 0.4, deselect the text, save the document.
  • 12. You have finished creating the labels needed for Allisons business cards.
    The next step of this exercise is to add a WordArt Logo to the cards. You should now open the Objective 2 presentation.
