  • Creating Business Cards in CorelDRAW

This tutorial will show you how to create a business card in CorelDRAW and to print them in batches of nine to an A4 page.

    1. Open a blank document. 2. Go to the Property bar, and set the Paper Type/Size option to

Business Card. 3. Set the Orientation to Landscape. 4. Create the contents of your card as you would any other CorelDRAW

project. 5. Click on File Print. 6. You may get a warning message related to the paper orientation at this

point. Click on Yes to accept the changes. 7. On the Print dialog box, click on the Layout tab. 8. Set the Imposition Layout option to 3 x 3 (9-up).

  • When you print the page, it will contain nine copies of your business card.

To make your life easier when cutting the cards, you may want to create a gap between each card. To do this, you need to edit the gutter setting.

    1. On the Layout tab of the Print dialog box, click on the Edit button beside the Imposition Layout drop-down menu. This will take you into a print preview screen.

    2. On the Property bar, set the What To Edit drop-down menu to Edit Gutters & Finishing.

    3. On the preview screen you will see a series of scissors icons.

    4. Click on one of the vertical icons, and increase the Gutter Size to insert a space between the cards.

    5. Select one of the horizontal icons and do the same.
