To put it simply, I wouldn’t have been to attend UC Berkeley without the Education First scholar-ship. I wouldn’t have been able to afford tuition and other expenses. The Education First scholar-ship has lifted a financial burden from my family... But furthermore, having access to the College Forward career coaching program through Education First is invaluable to me. They are able to answer my questions and provide mentorship throughout my college career. I see other students from similar backgrounds as me struggle through the same issues, so having that additional dimension of support is really beneficial.
