The Key Components To A Fan
Page
1) The user name (vanity URL) – I strongly suggest
you use your name
2) Cover photo ( dimensions are 851 x 315px)
3) Profile image (dimensions are 180 x180px) – use a
nice picture of yourself. Use the same picture for all
social sites.
4) About Me Section (keywords) – use the main
keyword from your niche. Make sure to fill out all of
your basic information!

1. Open Facebook and type into the search bar on top
“create new Facebook page”
2. Decide which category you fit into (time to decide
what you will be sharing on your fan page) Make
sure to read terms of service!

3) Decide what to name your page (within FB guidelines)
Page names must:
i. not consist solely of generic terms (e.g., “beer” or
“pizza”);
ii. use proper, grammatically correct capitalization and
may not include all capitals, except for acronyms;
iii. not include character symbols, such as excessive
punctuation and trademark designations; and
iv. not include superfluous descriptions or unnecessary

4) Add a description about your page using your
keywords in the body of the description. You may
add a link to your website here also
5) Make sure to choose a unique FB web address that
describes your page so people can find your page.
