CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Crazy BlockCut squares 2½” x 2½” in the corresponding number from the following assorted prints: 4–gray cars, 12–teal cars, 12–orange diamond, 15–teal diamond 15–red stars, 4–teal stars, 42–orange circles, 8–red circles 8–teal circles, 120–off white solidCut squares 3” x 3” in the corresponding number from the following assorted prints: 2–gray cars, 6–teal cars, 6–orange diamond, 8–teal diamond 8–red stars, 2–teal stars, 4–red circles, 4–teal circles 40–off white solid

Border 1Cut 5 strips 6½” x WOF from white main

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics and blocks.

Crazy BlockNote: The gray cars, teal cars, orange diamond, and teal diamond prints are directional, so pay careful attention when drawing the diagonal line on the back of the fabric.

These instructions are to make 1 block. Refer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics as each block is a different combination of fabrics. Sew 2 assorted print 2½” squares and 2 off white solid 2½” squares together to create a Four-Patch Unit. Repeat to make 2 Four-Patch Units.

Draw a line from corner to corner on the wrong side of an assorted print 3” square. Place the assorted print 3” square on top of an off white solid 3” square. Sew ¼” on each side of the line. Cut on the lines to make 2 Half Square Triangles. Press. Square up the Half Square Triangles to 2½”. Repeat to make 4 Half Square Triangles.

Referring to Unit A Diagram for piece placement, sew 2 Half Square Triangles, 1 assorted print 2½” square, and 1 off white solid 2½” square together to create Unit A. Repeat to make 2 Unit A’s.

Referring to quilt photo for placement of pieces, sew 2 Four-Patch Units and 2 Unit A’s together to create the Crazy Block. Repeat to make 20 Crazy Blocks.

Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to quilt photo for placement of blocks. Lay out blocks in 5 rows of 4 blocks. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 40½”. Top and bottom borders should be 44½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Boy Crazy Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
