5. Working mechanism (continued)
Slewing mechanism
The slewing mechanism consists of axial piston hydraulic motor, gear reducer, slewing brake valve, electro-hydraulic swing brake and pinion drive gear direct to internal geared slew ring.
The superstructure has 360° continuous rotation via the slewing ring which is driven by the pinion gear.
Infinitely variable speed from 0 to 2r/min, operated by a 4-way, progressive controlled electro-joystick.
The slewing mechanism can be locked by two mechanical locking devices in the front and rear of the slewing table, in addition to electrical operated swing brake and ‘free’ slew as standard.
Traveling mechanism
The traveling mechanism is fitted with two hydraulic motors and two traveling reducers. The hydraulic motors and balance valves are all imported from Germany.
Using electro-joystick control levers, the traveling movements can be controlled for straight ahead / backwards, differential steering, turning on the spot and traveling with suspended loads.
Traveling speed: 0-1.68km/h (subject to the crane working on firm level ground with no suspended load).
Grade ability: 30%
Track tension is completed by hydraulic jack & shim system.
A-frame mechanism
It comprises of front tubular support A-frame & rear anchoring pendant bars.
During transport, the A-frame is laid down on the rear side of slewing table
Counterweight
Total combined counterweight 27.03t, Comprising of:
1 x counterweight base plate of 5.5t 4 x rear counterweight plates of 3.86t each 2 x central counterweight plates of 3.045t each
Crawler carrier extending/retracting mechanism
The crawler carrier extending \ retracting mechanism consists of outrigger style chassis, crawler track frames, extending / retracting hydraulic cylinder, anchoring bars and locking pins.
The crawler track frames slide over the outrigger style chassis, extend and retract by operating the hydraulic cylinder, which is controlled by the cab mounted 4-way electro-joystick.
6. Crane system
Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system comprises of the main hydraulic pump, control valves, hydraulic motors, hydraulic oil tank, oil cooler as standard and imported electro-hydraulic control valves.
International advanced pump-control system is applied in to the hydraulic system as standard, with options for main hydraulic elements such as traveling motors to be of nominated imported manufacturer.
Main hydraulic control valves: Electro-hydraulic pilot
Hydraulic oil tank capacity: 700L
Main circuit control: Main pump + directional valves, controlled by two 4-way electro-joysticks.
Oil cooler: Aluminium construction, the cooler fan is driven by electric motor
Electrical system
24VDC, negative ground, two batteries of 165AH rating each The electrical system of the machine includes power source, engine start, engine shutdown, warning lights, illumination, fan, wiper, horn, hoist limitation, hydraulic oil cooling fan, LCD digital display system, PLC controller, engine preheating & digital LMI as standard
The crane adopts CAN bus control technology, connecting engine, PLC controller and LCD digital displays, enabling fault detection and self-diagnosis function.
Crane engine
6-cylinder Cummins QSC260, water cooled diesel engine, with turbocharger. Rated power/ rotational speed: 194kW / 2200 r/min Exhaust emissions according to EU Stage III
Optional* 6-cylinder Weichai WP10 water cooled Diesel engine with turbocharger. Rated power/ rotational speed: 199kW / 2200 r/min Exhaust emissions according to EU Stage III
Note: Engine specification may vary, enabling local emission levels & specifications to be upheld.
Multi-function Digital display system
The 10.4-inch LCD, having Chinese and English versions as standard, enabling operator to view various data collected by PLC controller, such as engine speed, water temperature, fuel pressure, pressure of hydraulic pumps, crane inclination & operating hours of engine.
The system enables the operator to be aware of the current working condition of the cranes systems, and in event of engine or hydraulic distress, the system will issue audible & visual alarms.
