TNS SERUM

The Hydra Facial can then be followed with TNS delivered into the skin through the Hydra

Facial. The TNS serum is a mix of topical human growth factor that combines soluble

collagen, matrix proteins, antioxidants and other elements essential to diminish the visible

The concept behind needling is the stimulation of new collagen production in the skin.

ALKALINE WASH SYSTEM FOR HAIR REMOVAL

The Danné Montague King Alkaline Wash system is a remarkable treatment designed to

reduce fine, downy hair on the face and other parts of the body. This type of hair is usually

dense and difficult to remove using electrolysis or laser hair removal.

WHAT IS ALKALINE WASH AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Alkaline wash is an alkaline powder which is mixed into a paste and applied onto your skin

by our practitioners for approximately 4-5 minutes. The treatment works by dissolving part

of the underlying hair follicle causing release of the hair leaving you with smooth hair free

skin immediately after treatment.

DOES ALKALINE WASH TREATMENT CAUSE PERMANENT HAIR LOSS?

Alkaline Wash is most effective when treating fine downy hair. Although it can be used

elsewhere it is particularly suitable for the face and upper lip areas where there is often a

dense growth of fine hair. After the first treatment the hair will normally grow back at its

normal rate, but as treatments progress the re-growth will become slower. It is impossible

to predict how many treatments will result in permanent hair reduction - which is achiev-

able for some people using this method.

Some clients report a reduction in hair growth after just one treatment, however there is no

guarantee as every client’s hair is different, and hair growth is dependent on many things

including how the hair was previously treated and the thickness and strength of hair growth.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

The treatment is totally pain free. In some cases the area treated can appear red and warm.

This is normal and will subside in a short period of time. Alkaline Wash has a dissolving

and damaging effect on the hair follicle and there is no evidence that this procedure results

in stimulation of hair growth in dormant follicles as waxing sometimes does.

The initial consultation with our practitioner takes about an hour discussing medical and

TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE

Thai massage is also called Thai yoga massage because the therapist uses his or her hands,

knees, legs and feet to move you to into a series of yoga-like stretches. People who try Thai

massage sometimes say it is like doing yoga without any work. Muscle compression, joint

mobilisation and acupressure are also used during Thai massage. Thai massage is usually

done on a padded mat on the floor. The customer should wear loose fitting clothes to allow

the therapist to manipulate the joints and muscles of your body.

BOOKING YOUR TREATMENT

At the time of booking, please let us know if you suffer from any allergies or medical condi-

tions as some treatments may not be suitable and also if you are pregnant or trying to

become pregnant as some treatments may not be advisable.

YOUR FIRST TREATMENT

Before your first treatment you will be asked to fill out a client record form and a medical

history and treatment consent form. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your first treatment to

allow enough time to complete these forms and to prepare for your treatment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please allow 24 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will

be charged 50% of the treatment cost. No shows will be charged 100% of the treatment cost.

LATE POLICY

We strongly encourage that you arrive on time for your treatment. In the event that you are

late, you may choose to receive: the treatment for the remaining time booked or an alterna-

tive treatment when available.

TREATING MINORS

As a courtesy to our other clients and for health and safety reasons, children cannot ac-

company parents into the clinic. We cannot treat minors under the age of 18 in the clinic.

However, a standard beauty treatment can be applied to minors between the age of 14-18

years with a parent/guardian present to sign a consent form.

DISABILITY STATEMENT

We are able to offer access and toilet facilities for those with wheelchair mobility needs. We

are unable to provide access from our car park but can provide access to the clinic via the

side entrance. Where we are unable to provide services to any disabled clients we will seek

to give details of an alternative provider.

Consultations are conducted in private and all information given during consultations

remains confidential.

ACCESS TO HEALTH RECORDS

You have the right to access your records in accordance with the Access to Health Records

We accept payment by cash, cheque (when supported by a valid Bank Card) and credit/

debit card. We do not accept American Express.
