Summary

A National Level Technical Symposium entitled “Prakrusht- 2016” was

conducted on 1 st April, 2016. The organization and management was especially

creditable. Other than the traditional crowd-pulling events, Prakrusht-16 boasted of

many new initiatives and interactive events. The effort that had been put by staff

members, management and students was truly praiseworthy.

The aim of competitions & events at Prakrusht- 2016 has been to cater to all

genres of engineering and technology. This was ensured by having competitions like Infra

Civil , Relay Puzzle , Robo War, Civil-o-tress, Robo Run, Paper Presentation ,Assembly ,

Robo Line Follower , Treasure Hunt , Click pic , Lan Arena, Web Craft ,Coder Paradise,

Android App Mania, Junkyard War . All the events, like always, saw a huge turnout

both in terms of enthusiastic participants and an exuberant audience. It was also

strategic in getting hold of a floating crowd and ensuring huge numbers for any

announcements/news etc.

Objective

The main objective of the Prakrusht-2016 was to bring all the students of

engineering together by various types of competitive events. It will help to

encourage the students and perk up of technical and edifice skills of the engineering

students.

Events

The Symposium featured multiple sessions and events, a total of 15 technical

events. Events like Infra Civil , Relay Puzzle , Robo War, Civil-o-tress, Robo Run, Paper

Presentation ,Assembly , Robo Line Follower , Treasure Hunt , Click pic , Lan Arena, Web

Craft ,Coder Paradise, Android App Mania, Junkyard War were available to emerging

Robo Run

Introduction:

Design a manually controlled ROBOT that has capacity to cover maximum distance in shortest possible time, challenging the hurdles and be one of the best opponents. Think your robot can overcome any obstacle-big or small in the least of time. If so get it on the track and let the game begin. And bear in mind that maximizing RPM does not make you winner but winners are those who have good presence of mind, sharpness and practice.

• Rules & Regulations: 1) This is racing event so fastest and most balanced robot will win. 2) Robot should be as per the given specifications. 3) Each team can have maximum three members. Students from different institutes can form a team. 4) Each member of the team must contain the identity card of his/her respected institute. 5) The robot should not damage the arena. 6) The robot must not leave behind any of its parts during the run else it will result in disqualification 7) Unethical behavior could lead to disqualification. Faculty-coordinators have all the rights to take final decision for any matter during the event. 8) Judge's decision will be considered final. 9) The robot will be checked as per the specification by jury member appointed by the college before enters in to the tournament and if any failure may lead to disqualify. 10) Readymade robot, Please Excuse.
