Determining Your Interior Door Size From Your Framing:

Standard door opening heights are 8� 1/�” for 6’8” doors and 98 1/�” for 8’ doors.If you have a non-standard door opening height, we can adjust the doors to fit.

Order your doors �” narrower than your opening to allow for door jamb and shims.Order double doors �” narrower if they have a t-astragal.

If your opening is �8” x 8� 1/�” you would order a �’0” x 6’8” door.If your opening is ��” x 98 1/�” you would order a �’6” x 8’ door.

Jamb size is determined by your wall thickness.�x4 walls with 1/�” sheetrock require 4 9/16” jamb.�x6 walls with 1/�” sheetrock require 6 9/16” jamb.
