This course is designed for Security O� cers wishing to upskill their basic Certifi cate II Security Operations qualifi cation to gain employment as a Bodyguard, providing a Close Personal Protection service or working in a Security role which requires the use of Batons & Handcu� s.

This course is delivered as an elective as part of the CPP30411 Certifi cate III in Security Operations or as a standalone course for those who already hold a current CPP20212 Certifi cate II in Security Operations and CPP30411 in Security Operations. This qualifi cation is available to be completed over a range of delivery models, including weekday, evening and weekend. Delivery ensures that all Victoria Police – Licencing & Regulation Division (LRD) minimum face-to-face training hours are met for the category of Bodyguard.

This course provides Security O� cers with technical instruction in the specialist areas of Close Personal Protection. In addition to in-class and practical training, students will have access to resources and learning materials to ensure they are provided the opportunity to develop all the required skills and knowledge for this qualifi cation. To further enhance your skills and employment opportunities, you may like to consider also completing the CPP40707 Certifi cate IV in Security & Risk Management.
