FAQ
1. Can we use DCISoft for finishing the IP setting for this system ?
DCISOFT only can set IP for Delta Own products, so for WAGO PLC, we can’t
do that in DCISOFT. Hence, if the server is not Delta Products, please use the
server software for configuring IP to all products. That is better.
Besides, for DCISOFT, it only can set IP configuration to Delta product except
HMI, and can’t set common parameter of inverter like frequency source.
2. In this case, why can they use CMC-EIP01 for Modbus TCP?
CMC-EIP01 still can & only support 1 server in Modbus TCP. In this case, there is only
one server namely WAGO PLC in Modbus TCP, so CMC-EIP01 is OK for CP2000 to
communicate in Modbus TCP in this case.
Our customer planed to use CMC-MOD01, but no stock, so choose CMC-EIP01.
However, we still suggest if you can, please use CMC-MOD01 for Modbus TCP.

FAQ
3. Is the C2000 the same setting as CP2000 in Modbus TCP ?
C2000 has the same setting as CP2000 in Modbus TCP for speed mode, so if
you know how to set CP2000, you can know C2000. Besides, C2000 can
support Torque control in Modbus TCP which CP2000 can’t support, so you
can also go to our public folder to download application note about it.
4. EtherNet/IP is better than Modbus TCP ?
EtherNet/IP can support more control protocols even including motion since it is
designed by AllenBradly. However, for common speed control, Modbus TCP is more
suitable for Delta since we have the server already. Of course, you still can use other
servers like WAGO in this case.
For EtherNet/IP, Delta CMC-EIP01 only support 2000H 2001H 2002H to be controlled.
