Tobin No-Till have been manufacturing no-till drills for 10 years and have sold machines throughout New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and West- ern Australia. The com- pany has also sold machines to Canada, Africa and to former Russ- ian Federation nations like Kazakhstan, the Ukraine and Russia. After relocating to Forbes six years ago the company now employ 12 people and look forward to moving to a larger site at the Forbes Central West Industrial Estate by the end of this year. As another service to the farming community, Tobins’ Luke Aguirre is currently travelling across the country offering on site demonstrations and has been extremely pleased with the response from landholders who have been ‘blown away’ by the abili- ties of the Tobin No-Till Drill. Anyone interested in an onsite demonstration can call Luke (0427-700- 251) or Tobin No-Till on 6851-2111. Tobin No-Till are also offering an extra 15 per cent off-season discount and Mr Tobin believes the additional RTO no till ma- chinery tax offset is more generous than a similar, broader incentive off-set- ting depreciation of new machinery. The RTO of- fers farmers a generous 15 per cent offset on their tax bill if they have purchased an eligible no-till planter in the previous financial year. The offset also applies to any seeding box pur- chased to accompany the disc planter or other no-till device. “For anyone who was close to buying [a no-till device] in the last few years, they will say ‘now’s the time’. If you were looking to buy a car and all of a sudden there’s a 25 per cent break, what would you do? You’d go and get it wouldn’t you.” Mr Tobin said he is happy to provide more in- formation on the RTO to anyone interested. n n n KITCHENS & JOINERY 0413 173 961 P. 6851 2727 F. 6851 2227 Lic # 226713C Made in our Region Cowra Forbes Parkes Young No-till manufacturer grows Mick Welsh of Mick Welsh Steel Fabrication in Eugowra has forged a reputation for excellence in the metal fabrication industry. 1007mickwelsh Mick Welsh Steel Fabri- cation in Eugowra is fast earning a reputation for ex- cellence in the metal fabrica- tion industry.
