After initial outbreaks established universal COVID testing for staff and

residents

Weekly meetings with Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) leaders

Brought in Health & Human Services (HHS) technical assistance team

Required universal staff and resident testing for all Maryland SNFs under the

Unified Surge Command

Providing ongoing infection control assistance to all congregate facilities

Currently reporting no outbreaks in Charles County SNFs

Maryland Road to Recovery- Phase 1

Guidance to Commissioners

Provide weekly guidance to Commissioners on status of Charles County and

the State in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic

Provide data specific to Charles County’s readiness to move forward within

the phases and gating within the Road to Recovery

Response to specific inquiries- adjacent zip code case rates

Guidance and Support to Charles County

Working with Economic Development Commissions, Chamber of Commerce,

College of Southern Maryland and others to provide technical assistance and

education for employers, business owners, employees and citizens of Charles

County.

Provide on site education for business owners using trained staff.

Weekly webinar series providing specific guidance to businesses and industry

with question and answer opportunities.

Continue to provide updated guidance and support as we move through the

opening process.
