In this 5-day course, students study & put into practice HUD protocols for

inspecting facilities for lead coatings & for assessing hazards posed by lead.

Students learn about paint chip sampling and its analysis by atomic absorption,

and about the principles of x-ray fluorescence (XRF) testing and use state-of-the-

art XRF analyzers in the field.

This (8) hour course covers the background on health risks of lead; how to

conduct a visual assessment & examination; how to collect dust wipe, paint chip,

and soil samples plus an overview of how to use an XRF analyzer.

This is a 1-day course, which is designed to prepare students to recognize,

evaluate, investigate, sample, and interpret our #1 environmental problem

affecting us today, “MOLD”. Each student will receive a CAL INC Certified Mold

Inspection Training Manual. In addition, the course includes lecture, discussion,

group activities, practical exercises, and hands-on training using state-of-the-art

equipment.

This 3-day course is geared towards workers who are only onsite occasionally for

a specific limited task (such as, but not limited to, ground water monitoring, land

surveying, or geo-physical surveying) & who are unlikely to be exposed over PELs

and published exposure levels.

This 40-hour course is designed for site workers involved in the investigation,

clean-up & removal of hazardous waste, & other activities which expose or

potentially expose workers to hazardous substances or health hazards.

MOLD SILICA HAZWOPER 40 HR, 24HR, 16HR Initial

1147 16 Hour HAZWOPER Upgrade- 1014 C(16)HR

This 2- day course is a combination of the Mold Remediation and Mold

Inspection courses. See descriptions above and on our website.

This class is geared towards participants who would like to upgrade their 24 hour

certification to a 40 hour certification. Hands-on training is the key component to

upgrading one’s certification with this course.

The prevention of mold growth is only possible if the factors causing the growth

are identified, controlled, and eliminated. This 1-day course will address the

causes of microbial (mold) infestation, how to recognize it, what to do about it,

how to protect yourself from it, and how to remediate it.

1022 - 8 Hour HAZWOPER REFRESHER- 1022 C(8) HR Refresher

Prerequisite: HAZWOPER 40HR Initial Course. 8 hours of Refresher Training

mandate that requires compliance with the Hazard Communication Standard of

training workers and making them aware of the silica hazard, the health effects

of exposure, protective measures, the identity of the competent person, and the

medical surveillance program.

1219 - Crystalline Silica Awareness-Supervisors-1219 C(4)hrs

This 4-hour course (geared toward supervisors, contractors, and owners)

addresses the new mandate that requires compliance with the Hazard

Communication Standard of training workers and making them aware of the
